Vacation Memories~Here is a pic from Sea World California 2006... Gavin, Marcus, Mark, Chris and Dad.15 More Days...
Chris and the boys digging the new garden. Chris put it where the sprinklers would water it so I couldn't kill our veggies! Good thinking. Bring on the tomatoes, onions, peppers and cucumbers!
Glad we are finally getting some use out of that sled!
Griffin playing with our neighbors new dog Bella.
I am officially the worst Mom in the world for not letting my kids get a pet. ALL of our neighbors have animals except us and I hear about it all the time!
Giana Maree was born on May 11, 2009 weighing in at an even 7 pounds. She is precious!! She has been in the NICU but finally got a chance to meet her aunt and cousin this afternoon. She will be out of the hospital in a few more days. Griffin was fascinated by how small she was (and that she tooted while we were snuggling with her ;) Congrats Chan and Jackie!!
While shopping last month in Kansas City I found these shoes and I couldn't resist taking a pic they are SOOOO cute. I have one niece Hannah, who is too old to play dress up with anymore. Thankfully my sister in law Jackie is due ANY second now! She is having a girl and is naming her Giana. I can't wait!! Good Luck Jackie, hope I hear from you soon! (And Hannah, this doesn't mean I still won't keep trying to play dress up with you!)
From Clay Center we went straight to Manhattan (setting a record for number of pee breaks in 39 miles...thank goodness I have boys who can go on the side of the road.) for the spring game. We missed all the fun stuff...Luke Bryant concert, KSU garage sale, carnival, etc. but we made it for the actual game. Griffin was confused....after a few minutes he realized both teams were KSU??!! The most exciting part of the game was the Spiderman popcicle, with gumball eyes!!

We spent Saturday in Clay Center at Gavin's first track meet. He joined the Hays Striders a couple of weeks ago and has really enjoyed it. This was our first meet and we learned a lot. There were a lot of big teams there but he kept up with them. He did well in the long jump and the 100m but kicked butt in the 200m. I have no pictures of actual running because I videoed them for Chris who had to work. They will have to watched on mute due to my screaming!! Griffin spent the day in the "sand trap" and I was happy he found an activity that kept him occupied for 5+hours!
