Outlaws Football 2009

Gavin had his first tackle football game of the season on Saturday versus Ness City. They won 37-0 and Gavin had a 70 yard run but had to run out of bounds at the 10 yard line. They were winning by too many points and if they scored again the game would have been over. He was dissappointed he didn't get to run into the endzone but understood since last year we had the score run up on us a couple of games. The boys were shocked because the Ness quarterback was a girl! They got over it quickly knowing that if they had to kick a girl's butt to win...they would do it. Way to go Outlaws!

Gavin's 10th Birthday

Here is the crew~Gavin, Creighton Cole, Griffin, Michael B. and Chase
Gavin dared Cole to hit him where it counts...and he did!! Gav learned his lesson after rolling around on the green for a minute! It was hilarious!
The peanut butter cup blizzard cake!
They decided to eat with no hands, or forks?!
Gavin had 4 boys spend the night last weekend and I am just now recovering. They played putt-putt, ate pizza, talked about girls(???!!!!), and stayed up late. I guess not everything has changed since I was little. Gavin has a nice group of friends and it was nice to host them for an evening although I won't be having them back anytime soon, HA!

KSU Game

The fireworks after the game were spectacular!!
Mark in heaven with his new margarita machine!
Willie drinking a purple Bud Light!
Here is the whole crew tailgating on Saturday. (Why do I look so short in the pic? Marcus is growing too fast, making me look short?! Stop growing kids!) It was the day we have all been waiting for! We had a blast playing football, enjoying mark-a-ritas, and welcoming Bill Snyder back. Everything was perfect...except for the actual football...but we are hoping for improvement!?

HOLY &^%*!!!

Take a look at our visitor yesterday! I almost had a heart attack when I walked out the door and saw this 4 foot long snake on my driveway. We have fields on 3 sides of our house and I am not that niave to think there aren't snakes but the size of this one was mind blowing!! After consulting with my neighbors, the snake slithered into my grass and curled up in a bush. We called animal control and they came right out and scooped him up. The snake was NOT happy. The officer then walked him a few yards into the field north of our house and LET HIM GO??!! Griffin and I were horrified. We wanted him to go a little farther away! Let's hope he doesn't come back any time soon!
