Outlaw Football! Go #18!

So this is what we have been doing in our spare time... Gavin plays tackle football and loves it. I takes a lot of dedication because of the amount of time they spend practicing during the week, their head coach is very demanding. His teammates are such good kids and Gavin has made some great friends. I am very proud of him. The playoffs are this weekend so if we lose, we are done. I want them to win but I would be lying if I said I will be sad when it is over! (Our routine right now is get home from school, do homework, shovel food down, and get to practice. Then go and pick him up, wait 40 minutes for them to finish up, get home, shower, shovel more food down, do homework corrections, and bed.) If they win, they get to play the next game on the Fort Hays field which the kids think is "big time!"

This was Kelli and I's chance...they were both in one truck! The boys had to peel us off the fence, HA!

We had a great weekend in Kansas City in the RV with Dad, the Creamers and some of Dad's work buddies. The camping experience was interesting...Kelli and I saw some outrageous things as we went on a walk late Saturday night! The race was great even though my drivers didn't do very well...Chris ended up winning the "pot" for the weekend so all's well that end's well?!

Dale Jr...Here I Come!!

I have always enjoyed watching Dale Earnhardt Jr over the years and sooner or later he will be my husband. (Sorry Chris...the alimony will be worth it!) We are heading to Kansas City tonight to watch some racing and do some tailgating! (I think I have spent more nights in the RV in the last 6 weeks than in my own bed?!) I will be Dale Jr hunting while I am there. I am sure if I just met him he would fall in love with me instantly. I will keep you posted.
