No More Training Wheels!
My 'baby' is almost 4 so we thought we might try taking his training wheels off of his bike. His main mode of transportation from the time he learned to walk has been his scooter, with the bike coming in second so I wasn't sure how it would go over. Well, it only took a couple of minutes to get the hang of it and off he went!! He told me to go 'sit down' and stop running beside him almost immediately. Looks like I will need a bike now to keep up with him!

LOSER minus 8!!!!!
I have been obbsessed with Jon and Kate Plus 8 for years and have always thought Kate was a little over-bearing. She has good reason...Jon didn't know what he was doing with the kids and someone had to keep them in line. This is a pic of Jon and his 22 year old new girlfriend on vacation yesterday...what is he thinking??!! Seriously! I know I need to get a life but I could not get over this picture and had to share!

Flashback to July 4th, 2008
The spectators...
Just one table of explosives.

Chris and Kelly loading up the wagon, taking it down the street to the launch site.
(Below) Madi and Griffin...quite the couple!!
I don't know who had more fun...the kids or the Dads? With fields on 3 sides of our house, this became the place to be when lighting off fireworks. We had quite a show last year with quite a few families bringing truck loads of fireworks over! It was great fun and I am looking forward to our 2nd Annual Fireworks Extravaganza! (Don't worry Mark...we will be SAFE!)
