Hays Jazz
Gavin's newly formed basketball team the Hays Jazz played in their first tourney in McPherson this weekend. They went 2-1 and placed 3rd so they were thrilled! Last year Gavin was on a different team and the Coach made him so nervous he could barely play. I am happy to say the atmosphere was quite different this weekend!
I was happy to get out of Hays since I only had 1 Christmas present bought. We stayed in Wichita and shopped 'till we dropped on Sunday. I am still not finished but I am getting closer! 3 days and counting...

Hungry?
We had Sunday fun day at Mom and Dad's tonight. While Mom and I played poker with Gavin and Griffin, Chris and Dad were busy cooking up a storm. This was their pot pie creations...with a powercat on top! We had to make 2 different kinds because I refuse to eat anything with peas in it. I do not think of myself as a picky eater...unless it has peas in it! Ewww! They were wonderful! Why isn't it Sunday fun day everyday?

Griff and his Kobe
This is Griffin and his "Kobe" blanket. Interesting name for a blanket but he used to try to say cozy blanket and he never could. So Kobe it is...This blanket was one he had when he was born and he still can't sleep without it 5 1/2 years later. It is starting to come apart and I am worried it is going to come unraveled...leaving him unraveled too! It is so small for him he has to have another blanket underneath and "Kobe" on top?! If only I could find this blanket in a larger size, lol.

Gettin' Tattoo'd...
They have temporary tattoos at the Great Wolf Lodge that last for a week so Kelli and I took the boys to get one. They all picked the same one...some tribal symbol? Kelli has always wanted a breast cancer ribbon in honor of her mom and aunt so she got one to "try out" to see if she wanted to get a real one. They didn't have a powercat for me so I got a cute heart design in purple and silver. I got the need for a real tattoo out of my system!

Holy Family Preschool Christmas Program
Here is the whole class...Joseph, Mary, 3 kings, Shepherds, Star, Angels and the animals.
Griffin had his Christmas Program today and it couldn't have been cuter! We have had some stage fright issues with him in the past so I wasn't expecting much. (Last year he quietly cried on the stage the whole program. It was heart wrenching! Halloween we didn't do much better. For those who have met Griff...this might surprise you! SHY has never been a word used to describe him.) He was a shepherd in the nativity scene and he sang every song with a smile! Yep, he even did the actions and shook his bells!!!! They sang lots of songs...too many for me to remember but he did great!
Great Wolf Lodge
Griff has never been big enough to get across...until this year!
How many hours have we been in the pool? Pretty wrinkly!
Lookin' Tough Brett!
Kaden, Griffin and Gavin
We stayed at the Great Wolf Lodge and the boys couldn't get enough of it. For some odd reason that place NEVER gets old for them?! There is a new slide and I must admit...it was pretty awesome! Kelli and I went down by ourselves a couple of times! Griffin and I went down and he flipped out of the tube, the look on his face was priceless! He didn't know if he should be scared or not, he was having too much fun. To top the night off we saw Santa! The big boys were thrilled that I made them take a picture. There was a lot of eye rolling and I am sure Santa will remember that when filling their stockings!
Kansas City...
We took the kids out of school last Friday and headed to Kansas City for some Christmas fun. They are so spoiled they can barely think of anything to put on their Christmas lists...so every year instead of gifts we go to KC and spend the weekend with our great family friends. While Gavin ate lunch at his friends' school Griffin got the choice of anywhere in KC to eat. I thought we were doomed for Chuck E Cheese but he surprised me with the T Rex Cafe. We have been there a few times before, but he swears he didn't remember it. We had a peaceful lunch without big brother around!

Halloween...(Really Late!)
Annual Country Club Party
Here are some belated pics of Halloween. Griffin was Josh Freeman, his favorite football player who played at KSU when he was small. I tried to get a cute pic of the boys with their cousin Giana but they were pretty hopped up on sugar. Gavin did not dress up this year ;-( Can't believe I have a kid too old for Halloween!?
